Psalms 125
Bishops' Bible
1A song of high degrees. They that put their trust in God be as the mount Sion: whiche may not be remoued but must stande fast for euer.
2As for Hierusalem, hilles be rounde about it: and God is rounde about his people from this tyme foorth for euermore.
3For the scepter of the vngodly shall not rest vpon the lot of the righteous: lest the righteous put their handes vnto wickednes.
4Be beneficiall O God: vnto those that be good and vpright in their heart.
5And such as do wander in their owne peruersnes, those God will cause to walke with the workers of wickednes: so peace shalbe vpon Israel.
